David is the executive chef and owner of Momofuku Noodle Bar, Momofuku Ssäm Bar, Momofuku Ko, and Momofuku Bakery & Milk Bar, all located in the East Village, New York. He is also the co-chef and owner of Má Pêche, opening this year in the Chambers Hotel.
Since opening the very first Noodle Bar in 2004, he has been honored with many awards by Food & Wine Magazine and Bon Appétit and profiled in the New Yorker and Gourmet.
He was named GQ Man of the Year and hailed as one of “the most influential people of the 21st century” by Esquire. He’s taken home three James Beard Foundation Awards and Ssäm Bar was recently named one of the 50 Best Restaurants in the World by Restaurant Magazine.
Momofuku Ko has two Michelin stars, which it has retained for two years. David's first cookbook, Momofuku, came out in the fall of 2009 and has received much applaude.
