ANTONINO CANNAVACCIUOLO

Antonino Cannavacciuolo along with his wife Cinzia manage the luxury 4 star 19th century, Villa Crespi on the banks of stunning Lake Orta in Piedmont.

Born in Vico Equense (Naples) in 1975, Cannavacciuolo is regarded as one of the finest chefs of his generation in Italy today. With a career that includes the kitchens of some of France’s three Michelin starred restaurants, he took over the restaurant at Villa Crespi in 1999.

His cuisine is immensly influenced by his own personal journey from southern to northern Italy and he effortlessly marries ingredients from Campania to Piedmont to produce some of the most innovative and distinctive dishes in the country. Michelin have awarded the restaurant at Villa Crespi two Michelin stars.

Antonino Cannavacciuolo also oversees his new restaurant at Locanda del Pilone in Asti, which was awarded a Michelin star in the 2010 guide.
