Brothers Enrico (Chicco) and Roberto (Bobo) are the second generation of the Cerea family run business.
Originally established by their parents Vittorio and Bruna, their restaurant “Da Vittorio” opened in Bergamo in 1966 focusing on light fish dishes in a still heavily meat oriented region. As the restaurant grew in popularity, the accolades flooded in and the restaurant gained a Michelin star in 1970.
As the family grew and the business expanded, the decision was made to move to the village of Brusaporto outside Bergamo to the prestigious villa with rooms, Cantalupa. Imparting their family’s ethos of excellence in both cuisine and hospitality, Chicco, who runs the kitchen with Bobo, has ensured the traditions instilled in them live on in the award winning Cantalupa. Cantalupa is a member of the prestigious Relais & Chateaux Guide and its restaurant has been awarded the ultimate 3 stars by Michelin.
