SAT BAINS

Chef Sat Bains and his wife Amanda are the proprietors of Nottingham’s Restaurant Sat Bains with Rooms.

Sat has been recognised by fellow chefs and food writers from all over the world for his innovative style of cuisine.

Among many awards and accolades, he has won the acclaimed Roux scholarship (1999), a Michelin star (2003), 4 AA Rosettes (2006), BMW Square Meal – Best UK Restaurant of the Year (2007), BBC’s Great British Menu (2007) and Observer Food Monthly Best Restaurant award (2008).

Sat remains passionate about training for young aspiring chefs and the industry as a whole. He works closely with New College Nottingham with their CoVE (Centre of Vocational Excellence) – The Nottingham Academy of Hospitality and Catering.
